The valves are too sticky. This can occur if the oil has caused debris to loosen in the trumpet valve case. It can be fixed by pulling the valve out and wiping it clean. It will need to be oiled again before being reinstalled. The valve is too tight. The valve should be loosened by turning it counterclockwise.
If it is not, you will have to re-tighten it. You can do this by using a small screwdriver to turn it clockwise until it clicks into place. Be careful not to over tighten it, as this can cause damage to the valves.

Why do my trumpet valves keep getting stuck?
Both of these problems should be fixed by using valve oil. If you have a valve that’s stuck, you’ll need at least 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart (1 to 2 quarts) of engine oil.
If you don’t have enough oil, your engine may not be able to start, and you may have to take it to a shop to have it checked out.
